A big part of getting ready for Christmas
is forgiving one another.

We human beings have a problem... we hurt each other.
We treat our spouses, children, siblings and parents badly.
We fight wars.
We spend much of our lives getting even,
protecting ourselves or both.

Then JESUS came and told us to
Forgive...
to give up our desire to get even...
to look past the other persons behavior to their need...
to see and understand what made them act badly...
to love one another.
This Christmas season would be a good time to think about this.
A good time to share this weeks "Pocket Scriptures."

can help put a little Peace in Christmas.
Cut them out and put them in a bowl. Then each morning put one in your pocket...
and your children's pockets...a reminder that God's commandments come with his help.
